Helena Arias Casals is a mechanical engineering and electronic engineering student at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). She has participated in various research programs for students such as Joves i Ciència (Youth and Science) from Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera, or the International Science Summer Institute (ISSI) from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. She is currently completing her Bachelor’s Thesis at Able Human Motion. She combines her studies with her sporting career in Olympic shooting, having won 3 medals at the Junior European Championships and aiming to win the Olympic Quota.
