Ariadna Farrés, Crew Scientist and Health and Safety Officer of Hypatia I, participated in the New Space panel of the Barcelona Deep Tech Summit on September 22nd.
The New Space panel covered the current situation of the aerospace sector in Catalonia and Europe, as well as the opportunities and challenges that both regions face to promote and help start-ups.
During the summit, the attendees had the opportunity to listen to different panels and participate in networking events. The panels covered a large variety of tech-related topics such as Artificial Intelligence, New Space, Urban Mobility, Health and Quantum Computing.
The summit also had the presence of relevant political figures, like Ms. Diana Morat (Spanish Minister of Science and Innovation) and Mr. Jaume Collboni (Deputy Mayor of Barcelona) that discussed the situation of technological entrepreneurship in Spain and the contribution of deep tech start-ups to global and contemporary challenges.
