We are thrilled to announce the launch of the «Design for Mars» contest, an exciting initiative organized by Hypatia Mars. This competition aims to inspire young minds to explore their creativity and ignite a passion for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
The contest is open to students aged 12 to 18. Participants will design a tool that could prove useful during a simulated mission to Mars. The designs can include tools for repairing equipment, collecting samples, improving daily life at the base, or any other practical idea for Mars.
The winning design will be brought to life through 3D printing and will be used during the upcoming Hypatia II analog mission at the Mars Desert Research Station in Utah, USA.
How to Participate?
Participants can submit their entries in one of the following formats:
- Drawing: Submit a JPEG file of your idea.
- 3D Design: Use CAD software to create your design and submit it as an STL file.
To enter, upload your designs using this submission form.
